The Baltimore Orioles are playing on the road tonight in Major League Baseball action, taking on the Texas Rangers. Baltimore finally lost a game this season, 4-2, at Boston the last time out. The Orioles had started the season winning all seven of their games and now have to look to refocus against at tough lefty on the road here in Cole Hamels. Baltimore will counter with Chris Tillman, who picked up a win over the Tamp Bay Rays in his opener, allowing just one earned run in five innings. Tillman, the seven-year veteran, has allowed the Rangers to hit .282 against him in 85 at bats. Adrian Beltre has the best numbers against him with six hits in 12 at bats, including a home run. Elvis Andrus has five hits, Ian Desmond has collected four in his career against Tillman.

Hamels is 2-0 this season, he has held Oriole hitters to a .213 average in 61 at bats. J.J. Hardy, who clubbed two home runs against the Red Sox recently, has a homer off Hamels. Mark Trumbo also has gone deep of the lefty and Trumbo has been an excellent addition to the Oriole lineup, hitting .406 so far this season.

Two strong pitchers will be on the mound in this one tonight, which could lead to a lower-scoring contest. The Rangers are home off a lengthy road trip, they also lost an extra inning game last night to Seattle, so they could come in sluggish in this one.
