NCAA Basketball continues on Sunday night when the seventh-seeded Wisconsin Badgers take on the two seed Xavier Musketeers. The game will be played inside the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri with a start time of 8:40 p.m., where it will be televised nationally on TNT. The Vegas odds for the game have the Musketeers favored by 4.5 points to pick up the victory.

Wisconsin played a less than amazing game against Pittsburgh in the opening round, but they were able to hang on and win 47-43 over the Panthers. Wisconsin has gone through some tough times this season but have still made it to the second round of the Big Dance, a win here over Xavier would certainly continue to make this one of the best tournaments ever played.

Higher seeds have lost in each of the first three days of the tournament. There’s a handful of potential games again today that could be major upsets, this one would qualify.

Xavier beat Weber State by 18 points in a game that was somewhat close early during the opening round, James Farr led them in scoring with 18 points off the bench. Three other Musketeer starters finished in double figures as well, they shot just over 48 percent for the game.

Wisconsin is going to have to play well in the half court to have a chance here. Surely they can score more than 47 points in a game, but having another poor shooting performance (they shot 32 percent against Pitt) won’t do well for the Badgers.
