The Wisconsin Badgers are hosting the Ohio State Buckeyes tonight in Big Ten College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Badgers favored to pick up the victory at home.

Both Wisconsin and Ohio State have four losses in the conference season, nine losses as well on the regular year. Each are looking to make an impact on the second half of the Big Ten season as well, a win here could help propel either team, though Wisconsin does have a tough schedule moving forward.

Ohio State has a very tough remaining schedule as well, following cupcake games against Northwestern and Rutgers — the Buckeyes take on Michigan, travel to Nebraska then play Michigan State twice and Iowa once. That makes tonight’s game important for seeding in the Big Ten tournament.

The Bucks have dropped three of the last five and four of their last seven games overall, each of those games have come against the top half of the conference. The Badgers have won four straight games overall themselves, knocking off Michigan State and Indiana in games at home. That gives them an edge tonight, though earlier this season the Badgers dropped a couple of bad games at home.

Yet, the numbers overall are good for the Badgers. Ohio State, on the other hand, has just one win against a Top 100 RPI team this season.
