Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings Start Time, NFL Odds, Free Pick

The Green Bay Packers are on the road in NFL Football action Sunday, taking on the Minnesota Vikings. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Vikings favored to pick up the win in this one, but it is considered a toss-up with the close spread.

Green Bay has been absolutely pitiful the last few weeks. Aaron Rodgers has been fighting for his life behind a beat up offensive line and none of his receivers seem to be able to catch the football. Two of those losses came on the road against two of the better defenses in the league in Denver and Carolina, the loss last week at home against the Lions is the one that certainly hurts.

Rodgers and the Packers are looking to rebound this week and doing it against the arch-rival Vikings will make it even better if they are able to get the job done. Green Bay opened the season with a 6-0 record and everyone thought they would run away with the NFC North title, not they are just a game behind Minnesota for first place.

The Vikings have looked solid in home games this season, going 4-0. Minnesota owns five straight victories on the season, which is the second longest current streak in the NFC behind the Carolina Panthers. Adrian Peterson's return has certainly helped fuel the solid start, but the defense for Minnesota has also played well. The Vikings own a plus-44 mark in scoring differential this season, the third best mark in the NFC behind Carolina and Arizona.

Minnesota QB Teddy Bridgewater has only one multiple-touchdown game through the air this season, if the Vikings get into a scoring spree with Green Bay they could have some problems. Rodgers and the Packers have been on the right side of this series the past five years, going 9-0-1 in those 10 games. The tie came when Rodgers was hurt, giving an even greater importance for him in this one.

Certainly the Vikings are better and headed in the right direction, but Green Bay will get it figured out.
