The LSU Tigers are playing host to the South Carolina Gamecocks in SEC College Football this afternoon. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the betting odds for the game have LSU favored by nearly three touchdowns in this one.

South Carolina was supposed to be hosting this one, but they are battling some major flooding on campus and the game had to be moved. The Gamecocks are still going to be the “home team” in this one, but playing in Death Valley is going to be a bit weird.

Odds are Leonard Fournette is going to feel comfortable today. He’s been the best overall college football player all season by a mile and there’s no reason that won’t continue today. Fournette has rushed for 864 yards already this season and 11 touchdowns. LSU hasn’t even had to really pose a threat through the air this season, quarterback Brandon Harris has just 382 yards passing.

The Gamecocks want to take Fournette away and make LSU throw the football, but that’s easier said than done. LSU sold less than 40,000 tickets for this game so there’s going to be plenty of empty seats and it’s tough to imagine the South Carolina team being able to get up and ready for this game with the distractions.

LSU’s defense is no joke either. They’re going to keep South Carolina from moving the football consistently and this game will see the Tigers look solid.
