The Oklahoma State Cowboys welcome in the Kansas State Wildcats in college football action on Saturday afternoon. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX Sports 1. Currently the odds for the game have the Cowboys favored by around a touchdown to get the win.

Oklahoma State has stormed to a 4-0 start to the season, they knocked off Texas last week in Austin. The Cowboys have seen two quarterbacks play in Mason Rudolph and J.W. Walsh and the two have combined to complete better than two-thirds of their passes to date.

The Pokes have struggled to consistently run the football, though. OK State is averaging just 4.1 yards per carry this season and need to get Chris Carson and Rennie Childs going early against Kansas State.

The Wildcats are off a bye week and they’re piling up 371 yards per game offensively. Joe Hubener is another quarterback in the line of dual-threat options that Kansas State has produced, though he hasn’t been spectacular yet this season when running the ball. As a whole Kansas State has not been a great offensive club and they don’t have a single receiver on the team with double-digit receptions yet.

OK State has failed to cover the number against Kansas State in each of the last three games in Stillwater, but the Pokes have won outright in each of those games.

The Cowboys and Wildcats both have held opponents in check this year, but expect both of their solid numbers to be bruised a bit now that they are taking on a decent opponent.
