The Baltimore Ravens are on the road on Thursday Night Football when they travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The game is scheduled for an 8:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on CBS and the NFL Network. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Ravens favored on the road to pick up the win.
These games are always close between Baltimore and Pittsburgh, this year’s first chapter will certainly be an interesting one. Baltimore comes in 0-3 for the first time in franchise history and Pittsburgh will be without franchise cornerstone Ben Roethlisberger because of a knee injury. The next few weeks are going to be critical for the Steelers, who are expecting to have Big Ben back in the fold in a couple of months.
They turn to Mike Vick to lead the way, which is just about all they have. Vick, the journeyman who looks like he can still get free and make a play or two downfield, might be able to lead the Steelers to wins if he keeps from turning the football over.
Baltimore is still the only team in the AFC without a victory this year, now it looks as if Joe Flacco and the gang will have to press in order to find a win. Flacco has just four touchdowns to four picks this season and the defense is going to have to step up if the Ravens have any shot in this one. Pittsburgh has scored 30 or more points in five of their last six home games dating back to last season. That’s obviously with Roethlisberger on the field, but having Le’Veon Bell back should help Vick and the offense. Antonio Brown is still on the field as well.
The Ravens are hurting from an 0-3 start, it’s really going to get worse around the Ravens when they fall to 0-4.
