NFL Preseason Football Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The Green Bay Packers host the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL Preseason Football action tonight. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live in both markets. Currently the odds for the game have the Eagles favored by about a touchdown on the road.

Certainly seems like a couple of Green Bay's starters won't be seeing a lot of time on the field tonight. The Packers opened as a field goal favorite in this game, but the Eagles are now laying a touchdown on the road.

Chip Kelly has to get some credit for trying to mesh a bunch of quarterbacks together and looking to make it work. The Eagles have five quarterbacks on the roster, including Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez and Sam Bradford, all of which look to be battling for the starting spot. If anybody can turn a quarterback into a stat machine, it's Kelly, who has won with mediocre signal callers before. Someone in this group is going to have to be the starter eventually, all three tonight will probably see some time.

The Eagles also have playmakers at other positions, having DeMarco Murray is certainly nice.

The Packers are looking to become the first team to keep Philadelphia under 35 points this preseason. The Eagles poured on 36 against Indianapolis and 40 against Baltimore last week. Both of those games were at home, now Philly takes to the road tonight.

Kelly has said he will play his starters for as long as he sees fit, no matter who the Packers are playing at the time. With the recent injury to Jordy Nelson, it's tough to see Green Bay trotting out their normal starters for much of this game, if at all. Reports are Brett Hundley and Matt Blanchard will see a lot of time on the field tonight at the quarterback spot.

Aaron Rodgers, take the night off. Still, a touchdown at home seems like an OK way to go.

Movie Oakland Raiders: 2015 NFL Free Picks & Betting Odds

Vegas betting expert Steve Fezzik doesn’t expect the bad situation in Oakland to get much better this season. This AFC West team may have some improvements in terms of personnel, but Jack Del Rio is the latest in a carousel of ever-changing mediocre coaches, and Fezzik doesn’t expect he is the guy to turn this team around. He also thinks people are overstating Derek Carr’s abilities at quarterback, as he may do well in the fourth quarter, but his numbers are padded with garbage time performance.
