NFL Preseason Football St. Louis Rams at Tennessee Titans Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The St. Louis Rams are on the road tonight in NFL Preseason Football action, taking on the Tennessee Titans. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. Currently the odds for the game have the Titans favored by about a field goal to pick up the win.

Tennessee got a great look at Marcus Mariota in the opening game of the preseason, but he struggled a bit at the start. The speed of the game, the depth of the defenses and taking care of the football are all new to Mariota at this level, obviously, and he's going to get better. Taking on a Rams defense tonight, Mariota should look sharper in this one but St. Loui's defense is going to be more physical than Atlanta.

The Titans ended up losing to the Falcons last week, the Rams also lost to Oakland in a game where the offense for St. Louis was just brutal. The Rams scored three points and they did see snaps from four different quarterbacks, including Nick Foles. He probably should be the starter, but Case Keenum, Sean Mannion and Austin Davis all took snaps as well. Neither QB threw a touchdown pass or interception, but they were collectively sacked three times.

St. Louis' only three points came on their opening drive, a six-play, 67-yard journey that opened the game.

Tennessee will be tested up front in keeping Mariota on his feet, the Rams are going to look to confuse the rookie QB and force him into making some more poor decisions.

The passive Rams offense might be a bit of a concern, though, if you're looking to wager on them tonight. Points should be scored by both clubs in what could be an entertaining contest.

Movie Oakland Raiders: 2015 NFL Free Picks & Betting Odds

Vegas betting expert Steve Fezzik doesn’t expect the bad situation in Oakland to get much better this season. This AFC West team may have some improvements in terms of personnel, but Jack Del Rio is the latest in a carousel of ever-changing mediocre coaches, and Fezzik doesn’t expect he is the guy to turn this team around. He also thinks people are overstating Derek Carr’s abilities at quarterback, as he may do well in the fourth quarter, but his numbers are padded with garbage time performance.
