The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs continue tonight when the Montreal Canadiens take on the Ottawa Senators in an NHL Playoffs Game 4 matchup. The game is scheduled for an 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on the USA Network. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Senators favored to get the win in this fourth matchup and hold off elimination.
Montreal has looked solid in all three games in this series, taking advantage of their Canadian counterparts. The Habs have out-scored Ottawa 9-6 in the three games, with the past two games going to overtime.
The Canadian power play has been rough, though, with the Habs converting on just one attempt in 13 chances. The penalty kill has been great, though, outside of the opening game where Ottawa scored two extra strength goals. The Senators to this point have converted on three of 10 chances, which isn't terrible, but it hasn't gotten them any success either.
Carey Price has done enough for the Canadiens through three games, holding off the Senators just enough to keep the Montreal club pushing forward. Tonight the Senators have their season come to an end as the Canadiens get it done on the road.
