College Basketball Betting Odds Arkansas Razorbacks vs Kentucky Wildcats Free Pick

The Kentucky Wildcats are still unbeaten and today they host the Arkansas Razorbacks in SEC College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on CBS. Currently the College Basketball Betting Odds for the game have Kentucky favored by double digits to get the win.

Arkansas poses the last real threat to Kentucky's perfect regular season. The Hogs get out and run, score points and do a great job sharing the basketball. Arkansas ranks ninth best in the country at 17.1 assists per game and they score, on average, 79.5 points per game for the season. They're on fire, having won seven straight games overall, claiming 10 wins in the last 11 conference games as well.

If this game was in Fayetteville, the Hogs would certainly have a better shot to pull the upset. As dominant as Kentucky has been all season, they've really been on another level in home games, winning all 17 games in Lexington this year. Arkansas has picked up five wins in seven games in SEC road tilts this season, but matching the intensity of Kentucky in this one will be difficult.

Both Kentucky and Arkansas have gone 7-0 in February. Arkansas has won three straight games in the series, including sweeping the Wildcats last season. Kentucky was ranked in both matchups, Arkansas wasn't in the Top 25 in either of the two games. That's different this year as the Hogs have been stable all season and find themselves ranked 18th nationally.

Bobby Portis is Arkansas' best player, averaging nearly 18 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. The sophomore forward is the only player in the SEC averaging 17 points and eight rebounds per game and he's going to get the target of Kentucky's stifling defense. The Wildcats have the best defense in college basketball and allow just 52.7 points to opponents this season. Whether it's Karl-Anthony Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein or any of the big men from Kentucky battling with Portis, that matchup will certainly be one to watch.

Kentucky has too many options, weapons and All-Americans. They'll get pushed in this contest as Arkansas is one of the better teams in college basketball nobody really knows about. Portis will have a big game but Kentucky outlasts the Hogs.
