The Indianapolis Colts travel to take on the Cleveland Browns on NFL Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. Currently the odds for the game have the Colts favored to pick up the win on the road.
Cleveland has decided to go with Brian Hoyer as their starting quarterback again this week, which is probably the right move. Hoyer has helped lead the Browns to this spot and their 7-5 record, but he has not been playing very good football lately, throwing just one touchdown compared to six interceptions the last four games. The Browns, though have decided he's the guy to go with here. They've picked up four wins at home this season but have alternated wins and losses the past few weeks overall.
The Colts are a high-flying offense that scores a ton of points and gets great play from QB Andrew Luck. He's averaging 373 yards through the air per game on the road this season, completing 63 percent of his passes and tossing 16 touchdowns compared to five picks. Those are certainly amazing numbers on the road, but Indy is just 3-2 away from home this season.
The Browns have won all four games AFTER losing this year, so they could be primed to find a way to knock off the Colts in this one. The Browns are coming off a 26-10 defeat by the Buffalo Bills last week on the road, their second straight away from home. Had they not beat Atlanta in the final seconds Cleveland would have dropped three straight.
Indy doesn't run the football well now that Ahmad Bradshaw is out, but they might have to have a decent game on the ground in this one. Cleveland has a very good secondary and ranks eighth in the NFL against the pass this year.
Colts will be too much, though.
