NFL Football Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

One-Dimensional Offense Hamstringing Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

The Jacksonville Jaguars hit the road to take on the Indianapolis Colts in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. Currently the odds for the game have the Colts favored by a comfortable margin to get this win.

Indianapolis has been scoring all kinds of points this season, piling up an average of 31 points per game, which ranks third best in the NFL as only Green Bay and New England are better. The Colts will look to Andrew Luck again in this game to lead his team to a win. Luck has thrown for more than 3,300 yards and 28 touchdowns this season, but he might be pitching it around even more the next few weeks. Ahmad Bradshaw, the Colts leading rusher, has a banged up ankle that will require him to miss significant time.

Because of the injury, Indianapolis will turn to Trent Richardson as their full-time back, but Richardson has struggled this season to consistently give them a big effort. Now, though, Richardson is the top guy in the backfield and will get a ton of snaps. Against a team like Jacksonville the Colts should be able to get the running game going to help set up the offense through the air. The Colts are not a good running team, but a renewed effort from a player that lost his starting spot could be beneficial.

Jacksonville always puts together a pretty good effort, but the Jags are just 1-9 on the season. Jacksonville has lost three straight games, all to potential playoff teams in Miami, Cincinnati and Dallas. The defense hasn't been able to help the cause, giving up at least 27 points in each of those games.

Indianapolis has picked up four straight games in this series, winning by an average of 35-10 in those games. The Colts have been on fire in the AFC South as well, winning and covering the number in their last 10 divisional games. That should continue in this game, but Jacksonville is coming into this one off a bye, giving them a chance to be rested up and ready to go. Luck does play well against the Jaguars as well, tossing for an average of 290 yards per game.

Blake Bortles and the Jaguars can be good in the future and they're continuing to improve, but Indy should rebound well from the loss to the Patriots last week.

Free Pick: Indianapolis 35, Jacksonville 17
