The Indianapolis Colts hit the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in NFL football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. Currently the odds for the game have the Colts favored by a touchdown on the road.

The Indianapolis Colts might be the best 0-2 team in the NFL. New Orleans would probably have an argument with that, but in any case they both should feel pretty poor about their start to the season. 

Both Indy and Jacksonville are winless, but this should still be a solid contest. It's an AFC South battle that is going to have a big impact on the rest of the season. A Jaguar win would put the Colts at 0-3 on the year, which would certainly be a tough spot. Houston has picked up wins in both of their games to start the season, so sitting three games back in the loss column this early in the season could be a problem for Andrew Luck and Indy. 

If Jacksonville is going to have any change, they'll have to play better football in the second half. The Jags sport an NFL-worst 64-3 point differential in the second half this season, which is not good. 

Indy beat up on the Jags twice last year, out-scoring them by 54 points in those combined games. Jacksonville seems to have a better team this season compared to last, at least early on. This will be the team's home opener and Gus Bradley is looking to build a winner in Florida. The Jacksonville defense has already surrendered 75 points on the year, so building that winner is going to take some time.

For the first time in Luck's career, the Colts lost back-to-back games. They should be able to get back on the winning track this week.

Look for Indianapolis to run the football in this one. Indy has been OK at running the ball so far this season, but Jacksonville is not good at stopping the run at all. The Colts will hand off as much as possible in this one, with Luck throwing over the top once they have the Jags committed to stopping the run. Indy is just the better football team.
