NFL Football Dallas Cowboys at Tennessee Titans Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Dallas Cowboys: Full Position Breakdown & Depth Chart Analysis at Wide Receiver

The Dallas Cowboys take on the Tennessee Titans today in NFL Football action. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the odds for the game have the Titans favored at home by a field goal.

The Cowboys were a mess last week, getting drilled by the San Francisco 49ers in their own building. The 49ers fans flooded into Jerry World and soaked up all the open tickets for that game. At times it looked, and sounded, like the Cowboys were playing on the road. They will take to the road here today, playing a Tennessee Titans team that beat the Kansas City Chiefs last week and looked pretty good doing it.

Tony Romo will look to lead the Cowboys to a win in this one. He has to be better than he was last Sunday if the Cowboys are going to potentially play for a spot in the playoffs. Typically the Cowboys defense lets them down while the offense puts up points, but that wasn't the case last week. The Dallas defense attempted to slow down the 49ers, holding them to just over 300 yards offensively which isn't terrible. But they weren't put in good positions often, thanks to turnovers from the Cowboy offense.

A total of four turnovers by Romo led immediately to 21 points for the 49ers, including a defensive touchdown.

Jake Locker will look to continue his solid play against a Cowboys secondary that is not very good. He put up 266 yards through the air and tossed a couple of touchdowns last week against the Chiefs, who have a better defense than Dallas. The Cowboys are going to have to get after Locker consistently or he's going to have another big game.

Overall, Tennessee can take a major step forward with a win. They're already 1-0 on the season and being 2-0 is so much more advantageous than being 1-1. The Titans have a road game at Cincinnati next week and they're looking to have some success and confidence going into this one. They've finished 8-8 each of the last three years and could put themselves in a position to be better than that this season.

Locker should have a big game, the Tennessee defense is better than anything Dallas can put on the field and the Titans are hungry for a win.
