The Green Bay Packers meet up with the St. Louis Rams today in NFL Preseason action. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on the NFL Network. Currently the odds for the game have the Rams favored by about a field goal in this one.

Both Green Bay and St. Louis dropped their opening game of the preseason and are looking to even their record tonight. We've seen some teams play their starters a bit more in the second game so far this preseason, but it's tough to gauge what these two coaches will do tonight.
The Packers dropped a 20-16 decision to the Tennessee Titans last week on the road. This game against the Rams will be their second straight road tilt before they host both the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs to finish out the exhibition schedule.
Green Bay didn't play Aaron Rodgers in their opener, but did get some solid QB play from their backups Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien. They wanted to work on running the ball effectively and nearly had 150 yards on the ground, something the coaching staff wants to repeat in this game tonight. But the Rams were one of the better teams in the league last year at stopping the run, so it could be tricky.
St. Louis hosted and lost to the New Orleans Saints last week. Their next two games will both be on the road against Cleveland and Miami. Much like the Packers, the Rams didn't play their starting quarterback Sam Bradford in the their first game. Expect him to see some snaps tonight.
The Rams forced two Saints turnovers last week, but it wasn't enough to get the win. The second and third quarters were not good to them, however, as the Saints out-scored them 23-10.
In tonight's game we like points to be scored. The total is sitting at 43 and we expect both clubs to score in this one. We'll take Green Bay to edge the Rams.
