2014 LSU Tigers Football Schedule, Preview

If Les Miles Left LSU, Who Would Replace Him?

The LSU Tigers have been a model of consistency in the SEC West . The 2014 LSU Tigers Schedule starts off with a tough neutral site game against Wisconsin but only features four road games.

LSU is young, talented and could have a spectacular 2014 season. They're going to be at worst 4-1 heading into their first road game of the season Oct. 4 at Auburn. Those back to back road games against the Tigers and Florida are going to be tough. They host Alabama and Ole Miss but will hit the road in their final two games of the season at Arkansas and Texas A&M.

The Wisconsin game to open the season will be tough. The Badgers should be pretty solid on the defensive side of the ball and are going to be a very good running team. Being played at a neutral site should make that game even more interesting.

LSU has picked up double-digit wins in each of the last four seasons, wracking up 44 wins in that time. They have to replace Zach Mettenberger, who graduated and heads to the NFL. Sophomore Anthony Jennings should be able to help them get right back to winning games this season as he saw some time on the field last season. National recruit Leonard Fournette joins both Terrence Magee and Kenny Hilliard in the backfield, which certainly will be very good. They're going to run behind an offensive line that is going to be very good.

LSU always has a very solid defense. Last year they didn't have the same numbers as a typical Les Miles team, but they should be very good again this year.

We really like the offensive line on this group, which should allow the offense to move the rock consistently. They might not get to double digit wins this year because of their young squad, but this year should be one that sets the Tigers up for a national title run in 2015.
