Major League Baseball Odds Milwaukee Brewers vs Tampa Bay Rays Free Pick

5 Potential MLB Trade Chips That No One Is Talking About

The Milwaukee Brewers take on the Tampa Bay Rays tonight in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv. Currently the Major League Baseball Odds for the game have the Rays favored to get a win in this one.

Tampa Bay is the hottest team in baseball, winners of nine of their last 10. They're climbing back into the race and now probably won't trade David Price. If their pitching can hold up down the stretch, the Rays have a very real possibility of making the post season, especially in the American League East.

Tonight they take on a Milwaukee Brewers team that is gunning for their 60th win of the season. A victory here tonight would make them the third team in Major League Baseball to connect for their 60th win, joining both the Oakland As and the Los Angeles Angels.

Milwaukee has been a very solid team away from their own park this season, sporting a record of 29-21. Tampa Bay has struggled inside the dome this season, sitting at five games under the .500 mark there. If they were much better in home games this season, they'd probably be atop the AL East standings. Either way, they have to battle now and by winning nine of their last 10, they're gaining steam.

This could be a pretty solid pitching matchup tonight. Milwaukee is giving the ball to Kyle Lohse, who can get guys out and has stayed away from trouble. His 11-4 record and 3.07 ERA are both very solid for the season. He's picked up seven of his 11 total wins on the road this season, making 12 starts away from their home park this season.

Tampa Bay will give the ball to Jake Odorizzi. He's a youngster that has a lot better numbers at home, sporting a 2.73 ERA this season at the Trop while having an ERA of 5.73 on the road, in less innings. Odorizzi ranks fourth in MLB with a 10.46 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He has a 2.96 ERA in his last 14 outings as well.

Tonight we like the Rays to continue to stay hot as Tampa Bay will win again.

Free Pick: Tampa Bay 5, Milwaukee 2
