It's a PAC-12 battle on Saturday night when the USC Trojans travel to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils. The game is scheduled for a 10:30 p.m. (EST) start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Currently the odds for the game have Arizona State favored by a few points.

The Sun Devils opened as about a touchdown favorite in this one because USC's offense has been horrendous. But a lot of money has come in on the Trojans and the line is hovering around a field goal i this one.

USC was able to get their offense together by beating Boston College pretty good a few weeks ago and taking out Utah State last week. But don't think they have completely figured it out yet. The home loss to Washington State should be fresh in the minds of all USC backers.

The Trojan defense has been very good. Washington State beat them 10-7 but the only touchdown the Cougars scored was on defense. Take that away and the Trojans are giving up just 8.5 points per game through the first four. Not bad.

This will be USC's first road trip since opening the season in Hawaii about a month ago. Arizona State can be a tough place to play and the Devils opened as a touchdown favorite. And USC has been horrendous against the number dating back to last season — going just 4-13 ATS.

The Trojans pretty much collapsed last season but did beat Arizona State in Southern California during that falling apart stretch. The Devils lost last week to the Stanford Cardinal as well, playing in back to back Top 25 opponents after beating Wisconsin two weeks prior. In those games Arizona State wasn't able to run the football at all, compiling just 166 rushing yards in those two contests. Certainly playing three tough opponents in a row isn't easy

Both teams are +2 in turnover differential this season. But USC is just 107th nationally in offense this season. That certainly causes some concern heading into a road game, at night, in a hostile environment.

We like ASU to get it done at home, but USC's defense will keep this one pretty low-scoring.
