ACC play continues on Saturday when the No. 8 Florida State Seminoles travel to take on the Boston College Golden Eagles. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on ABC or ESPN2 based on your region. The odds for the game currently have the Seminoles favored by three touchdowns.

The Seminoles are continuing to climb in the rankings nationally, now up to 8th overall. They've been one of the most balanced teams in the country, ranking fifth nationally at 52 points per game offensively and third nationally, allowing just 8.7 points per game to opponents. Granted, they've only played Pittsburgh, Nevada and Bethune-Cookman, but Florida State has already gone on the road in ACC play and won.

Jameis Winston has been spectacular in his first three college games, throwing only 14 incompletions and eight touchdown passes. Winston has garnered a lot of attention both in the south and nationally for being the next great Florida State quarterback, but so far he has to have surpassed expectations.

But it's not just the passing game that can hurt you with Florida State — they have a stable of backs that have accounted for more than 266 yards on the ground per game.

Boston College looked pretty stable in wins at home over Villanova and Wake Forest. But then they went out West and got drilled by a mediocre USC offense, 35-7. Offensively the Eagles are going to be in for a lot of work against Florida State, who owns one of the bigger and faster defenses in the country.

The Eagles do have one good thing going for them — Chase Rettig is a senior and has started 36 games in his career. Florida State smoked BC in this game last year, winning 51-7. Rettig will have to keep his offense going as best as possible in this contest. But the Eagles can't run the football and are just 116th nationally in total offense. Not good going up against arguably the best defense in the country.

Look for Florida State to dominate both sides of the football in this one. They're a heavy chalk on the road, in conference, but Boston College is out-classed in this contest and expect the Seminoles to win big.
