The victory marked Philadelphia’s fifth win in nine home games, but it also represented the fifth time this season it failed to cover the spread as a host with Phoenix just slipping inside the four point line.
Dallas has dominated this inter-conference series in recent seasons, winning eight of its last 10 meeting with the Sixers. The Mavericks have also done well in Philly of late, beating the 76ers four times in the last five games between the two squads at the Wells Fargo Center.
