Some would contend the Seahawks are looking to avoid a 1-3 hole this afternoon; however, based upon the official record, they are seeking a 3-1 start after Monday night’s dramatic and insane finish at CenturyLink Field. Seattle will need to defeat its NFC West rival St. Louis in order to keep pace with the Niners and Cardinals in what is shaping up to be a tightly contested division race (1:00pm ET start time, FOX). For that reason alone the Seahawks may be public enemy No. 1 when they face the Rams today. Some are just angry the team owns its 2-1 record without having earned it while others want it to pay for ruining a potentially handsome pay day.

It should also be noted the Seahawks have won six of their last seven games at St. Louis and they covered the spread in five of those contests. The Rams are also 2-8 both straight up and against the spread in their last 10 games as a home dog with a spread between 0 and 3.5 points.
