It has been almost four years since Florida won the second of its two BCS National Championships, and if the odds makers are correct, the Gators will be waiting longer still for that elusive third national title. Florida, which was favored to win Under 7.5 games last year at -130 odds, finished its first season under Muschamp with a 7-6 record. The Gators placed third behind Georgia and South Carolina in the SEC’s East Division with a 3-5 conference record as their lone league wins came against Tennessee, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt. 

Florida could be in position to slip past the Bulldogs and Gamecocks this season, though, with 18 returning starters and a star studded recruiting class headed to Gainesville. The schedule also looks favorable for the Gators as they play host to their most challenging conference opponents.
