Today in Hockey Betting — what teams win tonight

Listen to internet radio with DenverMoney on Blog Talk Radio

Bear with me today on the podcast, flew solo as DM had some things to take care of. No problems whatsoever. However the entrance and exit music will probably SUCK and won't be audible because of some wiring issues. Can't wait till we become an official Pregame Podcast. Currently, I'm still trying to master the podcast program that Pregame uses, so when I do that we won't have these sound issues anymore.

Official plays for me tonight are on the Flyers and the UNDER in the Caps/Rangers game.

I know it's a juicy number in the Rangers UNDER at -130 in most places, but I do think this is the right way to go. The Capitals obviously struggle putting the puck in the net (which is why they won't win shit) and the Rangers haven't been much better. The total has come UNDER in all three games so far this series, so there really isn't any reason to think it will change now. That's not the best handicapping method or slang, but I just don't see either of these teams being able to push that number today. I feel pretty safe in the under here today.

In the Flyers game I am backing Brian Boucher, who has played exceptional in this series so far. The Sabres haven't been able to get to him and I think Buffalo is in a bad spot here tonight. We backed Philly in Game 3 when they were a dog and they won 4-2 in a pretty physical game. We're expecting more of the same here tonight and they are sitting at an EVEN price. LOVE that. I know the perception around hockey is that Ryan Miller is the "best goalie" in hockey. Maybe so if he was on Detroit, San Jose, Philly or even Vancouver. But he plays in Buffalo and the Sabres aren't doing anything to help him. The Flyers take a stranglehold on the series tonight and it's going to be awesome.

Detroit is going to close out the Coyotes tonight. I know there is some pretty big reverse line movement in this game, which might scare off a lot of bettors, but I don't see it tonight. Detroit has dominated all three games in this series and I can't see that stopping tonight. The Red Wings are better at every position over Phoenix, including head coach, GM and owner (shameless jab lol). Detroit will take control of this game EARLY and Jimmy Howard will continue to be a brick wall. Best part of all this? The Wings can close out this series without their second best player, Henrik Zetterberg, who would be the best player on at least 25 other teams. As I mentioned on the podcast, if Phoenix can score on the power play and keep Detroit off the scoreboard, they'll have a chance. However, I don't see both of those things happening tonight. Detroit or nothing here tonight, guys.
