Analysis:I like this one to stay under, FWIW - another "we lost last year" type of game and the Dons' defense can create havoc - they created 25 turnovers against UIC, a team that many sharp people thought would win that game. For years the Dons' have had more talent than wins - now new coach Kyle Smith comes out from Columbia where they are (were) known for their defense and offensive efficiency. They just didn't beat themselves, which the old Dons' under RexWalters did - usually by just not playing defense with a bunch of very talented kids that played street-ball. Now, Santa Barbara does NOT know what this new team looks like - so I'd also like a 1H bet here. The Dons' Ronnie Boyce is probably the best PG nobody has ever heard of. USCB let Nebraska-Omaha shoot 62% - I have no idea how the won that game. They put Neb-O on the line 12 more times and only shot 22% from deep. If they do that here the Dons' won't need the points - perhaps a little on the ML for good measure.
Other leans for those that want action-Jackson:
UTSA: They've played two very good teams, UIC has traveled a bit from San Fran.
Lamar: because I don't think Oregon State should be -18 to too many teams.
Jacksonville State: Because for some reason they seem to cover every damned game and I don't bet them.
Marshall/M'head State: I think Marshall wins but not by much. This is one of those games where I'd personally take the Marshall ML and M'head State with the points for an amount so as to not lose more than a little juice - with the potential of making double. The G-Dub game fell into that category (sometimes it's simply a matter of reading the line movement) - and I will never enter those into the system. It's reality betting IMO but people would have a heart attack, like they might have last night when I thought late that our NBA total was wrong (again, reading the line) - I suppose I could get away with it when the plays aren't in a daily package, but I have found, much like the many HT winners - it's just not worth the hassle. So long as my long-term people are getting the winners - that's all that matters.
