Big 12 Report / Updated Power Ratings

By Tony George Last week was interesting week for the Big 12.  Kansas dominated Mizzou in the border war on Big Monday on ESPN, winning by 18 points as the nation’s longest home court winning streak is extended to 54 games.  We found out Mizzou has NO rebounding and trail the Big 12 in rebounding on the season. This weekend Kansas gets to face in state rival Kansas State who won a huge game at Baylor on Tuesday, despite getting beat at home as a 10 point favorite by Okie State, where myself and my clients took the points for an easy winner in that one.  This is the game of the week in the Big 12 without question as we have 2 teams in the Top 11, and the number 3 team in the USA playing a rival who is in the top 11 teams in the nation.  Kansas will no doubt be a short 4 to 5 point favorite in this one.Homecourt combined records of Big 12 teams headed into Wednesday Night are 116-8 SU, and even the low man on the pole in the Big 12, my beloved Huskers, are 10-2 at home.  There are 5 teams who remain undefeated at home, and 4 teams have only 1 loss at home.  Again let me say that home court in the Big 12 is something you have to figure into your capping every week.Oklahoma State travels to Mizzou on Saturday and Baylor off a devastating loss at home, their first of the season gets to travel Texas on Saturday as well.  We will find out what Texas AM is made of the next week with brutal games at Okie State this week, Mizzou on the weekend, then Texas Tech and Baylor.   Nebraska seems to be showing the signs of a weak non conference schedule as they struggle on offense, especially on the road at just 54 ppg on offense, that does not get it done on the road in the Big 12, so check them out weekly for road games, as they are a go against team right now on the road, but still tough in Lincoln with 2 losses, one to Kansas, and they entertain OU on Saturday and have Kansas State following that game at home, both should be SU losses.  Here are these weeks new numbers:Kansas 93 - (add 5 points for home court) Texas 89  - (Add 4 points for home court)Kansas State 87 Baylor 84 Missouri 83 - (add 4 points for home court with Mizzou) Oklahoma State 82 Texas AM 80 Texas Tech 78 Oklahoma 76 Iowa State 73Colorado 72 - (add 4 points for home court with the Buffs)

Nebraska 70

Best of Luck this weekend, My MO Valley and Big 12 games combined are now 10-5-1 ATS on the year with premium plays and bonus as of 1/27.
