Kentucky Derby
winner and likely
Preakness
favorite Super Saver looked good on Tuesday at Churchill Downs, on the morning after he went three furlongs in :36.60.
“He came out of the work very well,” trainer Todd Pletcher said. “Everything is on ‘go,’ so we’re planning on getting on the plane in the morning.”
Todd Pletcher looks to take the second leg of the Triple Crown after breaking his 0-24 slump in the Kentucky Derby. Calvin Borel will be aboard once again and looks to be facing a field of 13 with many new faces in the Preakness.
