The Sweet 16 Round of Action produces a very unique betting situation for Totals Players. During the Sweet 16 Round I like to Favor the Unders in these game. Thus the games will be played with lower scores.

Another factor that brings us lower scores in this round is the fact that the teams are fresh and rested. Tired teams don't play hard defense but rested teams do. It takes more energy to play defense than offense. This is another reason why the Unders are the way to go in the Sweet 16 Round.

The last factor that favors the Unders here is the public itself. Vegas knows these games will be bet heavily because it's march madness and these games are on TV. Vegas knows that the average bettor will play Over more than Under so to compensate they make the total higher in anticipation of the action that will come in on the Over.
