  • GF great work on status updates with the players tonight. I have a half-ass "local" who is slow with the line moves and am looking for updates just like that to fire in on him. Keep up the good work and continued success to you my friend.

  • thanks for the W on philly  - gave you some props tonite to a newbie asking for advice  -  oh yeah, a newbie with a 10,000 bankroll to start

  • Thanks Bonds & Steve....appreciate it fellas.

  • Good GOD, my man....

    Office Space line....'deeper and deeper'

    Killer stuff as always.

  • Yes it should Joe.....I was leaning to playing Memphis with West being suspended, but woth Grizz being w/out both Gay & Lowry I dedicded to pass.

  • That New Orleans/Memphis game should be interesting.

David West suspended for one game

    David West - F - NO - Feb. 9 - 5:22 p.m. ET

Hornets' forward David West was suspended for one game for Sunday's Flagrant 2 foul on Mike Miller and will not play on Monday night.

This should not come as a surprise if you've been following our news blurbs since his ejection. Sean Marks and Ryan Bownen will likely get his minutes, while we expect a nice line from Rasual Butler. Chris Paul is also not likely for tonight, but West should be benched for the upcoming week now that he plays just one game.

Rudy Gay, others doubtful to play Monday

    Rudy Gay - G/F - MEM - Feb. 9 - 5:29 p.m. ET

Rudy Gay is not likely to play for the Grizzlies when they play the Hornets on Monday due to a hip flexor.

This game is going to be painful to watch for the folks who spent money for tickets. Gay, Darrell Arthur (personal) and Kyle Lowry (foot) are not expected for Memphis, while Chris Paul, David West and Tyson Chandler will probably be in street clothes for New Orleans. All the aforemtioned players should be benched in weekly leagues with this news.

Jason Terry unsure if surgery will be needed

    Jason Terry - G - DAL - Feb. 9

Jason Terry (broken finger) is expected to visit a hand specialist on Monday, at which point a timetable for his return should be established.

Terry wasn't sure whether surgery is necessary, and the early estimates have him out at least two weeks. J.J. Barea should be a nice short-term fill-in, but everyone from Dirk Nowitzki to Jason Kidd (and possibly Jerry Stackhouse) will be called upon to recover Terry's 19.9 points per game.

Al Jefferson's season ends w/ torn ACL

    Al Jefferson - F/C - MIN - Feb. 9

Al Jefferson is expected to miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his right knee on Sunday and will have surgery in 6-10 days.

He was coming off the best game of his career (36 points, 22 rebounds), but owners who saw him go down last night had to know this was probably coming. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery and be ready to go next year. Kevin Love, Ryan Gomes and Rodney Carney should all see a boost in value after this devastating news.

West's flagrant foul could earn a suspension

    David West - F - NO - Feb. 9

David West was ejected for a flagrant foul on the Wolves' Mike Miller on Sunday, after scoring nine points on 4-of-7 shooting with two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in just nine minutes.

  • Report: CP3 could miss Monday and Wednesday

    Chris Paul - G - NO - Feb. 9 -

Chris Paul (groin) could miss Monday and Wednesday's games, according to a report from the New Orleans Times-Picayune on Sunday.

Paul said he is going to play in the All Star game, but coach Byron Scott said enough to let you know that CP3 is still hurting, stating "he's pretty cautious about what he has to do on All-Star weekend...(he understands) it's more important what he needs to do for this team than All-Star weekend." If they're concerned about a glorified scrimmage, then a full speed game is certainly in question.

  • Rudy Gay questionable for Monday's game

    Rudy Gay - G/F - MEM - Feb. 9 - 9:51 a.m. ET

Rudy Gay is listed as day-to-day with a strained hip flexor, making him questionable for Monday's game.

The Memphis Commercial-Appeal lists Gay in the starting lineup, but they also have him as day-to-day on the injured list. With just two games this week, a single DNP could be devastating...check back soon for an update.

Wolves await word on Al Jefferson (knee)

    Al Jefferson - F/C - MIN - Feb. 9 - 10:51 a.m. ET

Al Jefferson is expected to have an X-ray and MRI on his injured right knee on Monday.

Jefferson said that although he heard the knee "pop", it didn't feel as bad as the mild MCL sprain that sidelined him for two weeks during training camp. "I couldn't put any pressure on it last time," he said. "This feels a lot better." By no means is that an official diagnosis, and we should know more later on Tuesday.
