No problem, man. Hit me back whenever. I am going to fully enjoy my sunday of nerdly number crunching and basketball watching that's for sure
Congrats Bebe's on your cover last night, very impressive mate!
I'm trying to go step to step with you this month after learning so much the last 5-6 weeks, from you guys at Pregame.com.
I have found my way of capping (as you say everyone is different) and it seems to be working.
All I need is to keep building my kitty up, I have put in $300 bucks and I'm now at $1200 so, I'm on the charge.
I'm looking at building a significant bankroll the next three years or so and then I'm gonna use it on coming to the States for the 2014 Final Four. After hearing on the NBA All-star game that it was being played at Cowboys stadium I thought, yep, I'm gonna go!
Then after that head up to Milwaukee hopefully for some playoff action with a Bogut/Jennings led Bucks.
I had my first go at totals the other day after reading one of your game previews and it came up. I followed some of the angles you used and it worked very well.
Thanks again to all at PG.com and keep up the great work!
Well done with the first post in the new blog, LC! I gotta head to bed, but I'll hit you up tomorrow for sure!
No problem, Juniorwaugh!!
I know I speak for everyone around here when I say that we just want to see you guys winning!!
Remember, MANAGE that bankroll, and we'll grow that sucker over time - plenty more games and more sports and more years to go to get to your goal, and I believe we will get there with patience and selectivity. Nice steps you're taking so far, you should be proud!!
Cheers thanks for that mate!
In regards to other sports, who do recommend to follow as a pro for baseball? I have always enjoyed watching it but trying to cap it I wouldn't know where to start.
How much of your bankroll do play a day? Do you have a particular method?
No problemo, Junior!
For baseball, a lot of different cappers have success in their own way!
Obviously, I'm going to say myself, because I feel baseball is my second strongest sport to NBA, but Hook, Goodfella, and Sac Lawson are all strong in MLB, too!
What up DB? Just left a post in the podcast thread. Glad to see you on a winning side today, especially because I was on the same side. Had a great day myself! I'm torn, I feel like I should kick myself for passing my strong early leans that both won, but I still had a good day so can't complain. forgive me if you already responded to my other post I'm just feeling good right now. Can't wait to dig in to sunday's card. Let's take it down again my man
Agreed, Tony!
Utah was a SOLID choice, glad we were both on there! You've really, in my opinion, made HUGE strides in your capping in just your brief time here -- let's always keep chatting about plays, and let's keep winnin'! :)
Dan - Thanks much for the quick yet thorough analyses; It really, really hepls me to get an early start
I start every NBA handicapping day with your write-ups and end with them when constructing my betting strategy and money mgt parameters
Lots of my own handicapping in between, but you are the engine and the caboose
And never forget to keep Momma happy, and tell her we appreciate her patience - I mean that - and don't say "haha"
I would like to tell you how I did in the NBA today by playing nothing but leans w/o a single "primary" play, but if you haven't picked up on it yet, I'm not into that kind of self-promoting dialog
Once in a great while, you get into an ebb and flow when you are truly "in synch" with most of the teams; After 2 short weeks, that is my perception of what you are trying to do
Thanks for carrying me along - Jeff from Indy
CONGRATZ ON THE PP. I was on UTAH as well, and knowing you were on it, makes me know it wasn't just luck haha.
You probly won't get this cuz its way too early, but...I will rememeber to ask again when its a decent hour!
When i read through your threads, I see it so often where you start off by saying..."this line is off." I interpreted that to mean you are not interested in betting this game's line. Can you confirm or deny?
2010, Dan means there is no line posted for that game yet when he is writing. Off as in Off the Board. Good Luck
Nice strike again Dan...that was a brave one given all the points but to me shows that you are really in the groove. Nothing is fazing you at the moment. Personally I wasn't on Utah but I did 4 of your other leans: Nets, Memphis, Dallas over and Cavs unda for a 3-1 NBA win and then I dropped the big one on Hooky's winning paid play. I've told Mike I can't keep being unfaithful (I feel a tart) so I'll be back to buying Bebe very soon!!!!
