NBA Full Analysis and Plays: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls - Game 3

Cleveland at Chicago

NBA – 733 Cleveland Cavaliers @ 734 Chicago Bulls

*SINGLE DIME PLAYS*

The game 2 of this series was a clear indicator of how this series will end: hardly the Bulls will be able to steal one game from the Cavaliers because the Bulls made one of their best offensive games of the season and still they lost the game by 10 points!

The Bulls as we know aren’t a great offensive team however they were able to score 56 points in the paint in game 2 against the second best paint defense in the league (they scored also 18 fast break points)! Plus they committed a season low 4 turnovers in the entire game and after being dominated in game 1 in the rebound battle the Bulls outrebounded the Cavs 13-5 in offensive boards with Joakim Noah alone having more offensive boards than the entire Cavaliers’ team (7 vs. 5!). Derrick Rose enjoyed a great game once again by shooting 10-24 from the field; Loul Deng had to defend Lebron James but he still found the energy to score 20 points while shooting 7-15 FG and even Noah shot 10-18 from the field! Will the Bulls have similar numbers today? IMPOSSIBLE!

Meanwhile the Cavaliers were superb on the offensive end with Lebron James taking care of the game in the final quarter. He scored 40 points while shooting 16-23 from the field. Some of the jumpers he took hardly will cash today because James isn’t exactly known for being a perimeter oriented guy. I expect the Bulls to double team more than ever today but this will mean that the Cavs supporting cast will have also more space to shot and I simply don’t expect Mo Williams to repeat this 2-8 from the field performance in game 2. The Cavaliers shot 10-20 behind the arc in game 2 and it won’t be hard to repeat this kind of performance because if you saw the game 2, the players shot wide open 3pts! Just look for Jamario Moon’s 3pts made – he was wide open in each single trey!

Obviously I don’t expect the Cavaliers to shot 56.3% from the field and so we have a good window to take the Under in this contest. The Bulls will have to put more defensive pressure on the court tonight as they won’t attack better like I’ve said before while the Cavaliers will be happy to operate in an half court game and take advantage of their size advantage. I’m taking the Cavaliers and the Under in this contest as my Single Dime Plays.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 733 Cleveland Cavaliers (-4.5)
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on Under 193.5
