Dgreene, I know that Carolina had 31 points at halftime of the Seattle game, and went very conservative in the second half, both on offense and defense. Against Arizona, Carolina scored on their first three posessions against a defense that ranked in the top 10 all season, and their 49 points was an NFC championship game record. Against Denver, I believe Carolina will present problems in the matchup that New England could not. The running game for Carolina is significantly better than the one Denver saw yesterday. A healthy Dion Lewis and/or LeGarrette Blount would, in my opinion, have had a much better showing than the troika of Stephen Jackson/James White/Brandon Bolden. The Carolina offensive line has been good and, more importantly, healthy, all season. Arizona could get little pressure no matter what they tried. Finally, Cam Newton is a much more mobile QB than Tom Brady, and can extend plays or make plays with his legs when necessary. For those reasons alone, Carolina should win this game, and I'll be happy to take your money as well.
