Key to the game is Carolina's versatility. Denver's D is great, obviously. However, they just played two opponents, both at home, who were extremely one dimensional. Carolina and Denver have #1 and #2 defenses by all advanced metrics, so acting like there is only one great defense in this game is incorrect. Defenses are close, skill players are close, biggest advantage is Carolina has top 3 O-Line while Denver has bottom 10. Carolina has top 5 QB, Denver bottom 5. Effectively, Carolina is Denver with a much better QB and O-line. Denver will need to win the turnover battle to have a chance. That's going to be a tough task considering they're going up against the #1 team in turnover margin and they, themselves, had a negative turnover margin for the year.
