Manchester City vs Barcelona over 3 (-122)
The greatest part about having a strong gambling team behind you is the fact you have more time to specialize in whatever sport you like watching (for me it would be the NBA). I personally don’t watch soccer but the people I know that do have convinced me to pinch in on this match (I might just watch because it will lead right into the Rockets/Cavs). Here’s the low down:
Manchester City will be without starting goalkeeper Claudio Bravo and defenders Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta.
Barcelona will be without midfielder Andres Iniesta and defenders Gerard Pique, Jeremy Mathieu and Jordi Alba.
Man City got thrashed 4-0 last time these two met and it’s only fitting they have revenge on their minds but the problem is City’s manager Pep Guardiola’s ego and stubbornness. In his days at Bayern Munich, he instructed his team to go toe-to-toe with Barcelona and he’s doing the same exact thing with his new team Manchester City. With key defenders out for Barcelona, you can expect Pep to stick to the same game plan but this time around he might think things will turn out different because he has his star striker back in Sergio Aguero who missed the thrashing. There are reports that Manchester City is treating this like a must win and people within my circle strongly agree so this means they’re going to need at least 2 or more goals to win because It’s just not plausible to think City and their backup goalie will keep Barcelona from scoring today. Doesn’t matter what formation Pep chooses, it’s just not plausible.
