Jordan was quicker, attacked the basket better, better isolation player, better defender, more knowledgeable and lethal all-around. He also had the killer instinct at the very highest level and played in a much tougher era. Taken together = NO CONTEST.
Agree with Dilaudid8- Detroit Bad Boys best/toughest team to beat. Why? They had everything you could ever need at every position, were very deep and were led by the best small player the game has ever seen (Isiah Thomas). That dude had a similar killer instinct to Jordan. They could destroy a team with the fast break or the half-court offense and the defense and rebounding were superior. They were an awfully long and strong team. Great coach also in Chuck Daly who put the music together perfectly and the players loved playing for him.
