I saw my high school teacher break a yardstick over the Hand of the best athlete in my grade 30+ years ago. His dad was in law enforcement. The kid shut up, dad never said one word to school, but did tell his son to straighten up. Kid turned into a model citizen in a small community. Not saying that was right, but it was at that time. Raise your kids tougher, respect elders, others first, accountability, instead of this coddle ass society of entitlement. Oh yea, we didn't have cell phones and social media. My venting just shows my age, but maybe it also shows that my generation acted like you were being watched and if you got caught you admitted to your fault, and today's generation (parenting included) is I'll get a lawyer if you do us wrong. What the teacher here did was wrong! whats with the phone being out at the pool at gym class?
