isolation is the essence of land art, and nothing really compares to the beauty of nature for this old country boy. I'm still mesmerized by the sunset and the ever changing canvas that I view on a daily basis. can't be duplicated.
........however, I guess if I was instructed under duress to pick one work of man made art that stands above the rest, I would have to go with the work of Mike in the Sistine Chapel.
I've really been getting my rocks off on the isolated time lapsed photography of nature in bloom or change - it's captivating, thought provoking, and downright majestic. Watching a mushroom pop, or sprout come to fruition. Nature encapsulates the entire realm of senses. Too may folks have lost their way, and that's whats wrong with the world today. Nothing, and I repeat, nothing compares to the beauty of nature, even in it's simpliest form.
City slickers think food comes from the supermarket, LOL. Stop and smell the roses and then come back and talk to me about the awesome works of so-and-so; not even close my friends.
