Who in your opinion was the best to do it in the college ranks...Tough topic but worth touching on.
QB: Tommy Frazier - Nebraska Cornhuskers
Growing up watching CFB this is one guy that just sticks out to me. Tommy Frazier led Nebraska in 1994 and 1995 to back to back national championships. Only 4 QB's have ever done that. Now his numbers are not game changing numbers, but his play on the field was game changing. His senior year he accounted for 34 TD's and over 2,200 yards of offense combined. He could open up a defense with ease. Nebraska in those years maybe had one of the all time great teams. The team was fast, fast and even faster. 1995 was a year in which Nebraska and Frazier really put it on the map for the Cornhuskers as they met the Florida Gators in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The game was never a game as Nebraska just ran all over Florida posting a 62-24 victory. Tommy Frazier collected a MVP award for his performance. He was a QB who really was injury prone, and as he finished school to make his debut in the NFL, Frazier was never drafted. Blood clots had become and issue and his style was not NFL material as it is today. All in all Frazier finished with a 33-3 record as a starter for Nebraska, 2 national Championships and was a Heisman Trophy Runner-Up in 1995. Maybe not have been the greatest overall. I just remember him being the greatest QB i ever watched on TV.

RB: Bo Jackson - Auburn Tigers
The only two sport all-star ever to be named in major american sports. 1985 Jackson took home the Heisman Trophy. He rushed for over 4,300 yards combined years while at Auburn. 43 TD's on the ground and 2 receiving as well. Even though Bo Jackson was great at football, he also was a good baseball player. We all remember the "Bo Knows" commercials and his flashy sneakers that are still worn today. He was a freakish type of athlete and anyone that remembers Bo Jackson can say he was one of the great talents cut short. Jackson was drafted #1 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1986, but he chose to play baseball instead. He joined the Kansas City Royals and at that time became known as a true two sport athlete. Bo Jackson was like lighting as he also ran an unofficial time in the 40 with a 4.12 40 yard dash. To add to that speed Jackson was the fastest player to run the ball in most kids all time favorite games Tecmo Bowl. During a game Vs. the Cincinnati Bengals he suffered a career ending hip injury and we never saw him grace the football field again. Although i was just a youngster in his college days i remember Bo Jackson and he is the first RB to come to my mind as the best talent at RB.

WR: Larry Fitzgerald - Pittsburgh Panthers
He didn't play for the best coach or even have great quarterback, but Larry Fitzgerald was in a league of his own. It was hard to not throw the ball to Fitzgerald as he seemed to just catch everything thrown his way. He broke the NCAA record with at least 1 touchdown for 18 straight games. 1,000 yard receivers are hard to come by in the college ranks but doing it back to back years is something that is very hard to achieve. He also had 14 games with over 100 yards receiving setting a Pitt Panther record. He finished up his career at Pittsburgh with sights on the NFL. He compiled totals of 2,677 yards receiving and 161 catches and 34 receiving touchdowns. In college he was a highlight reel, and often made catches that seemed impossible. The first game i watched him play he was just amazing. He was snagging balls from the QB's that most WR would just let go or even drop. His sophomore year with Pitt was just one for the ages. 1,672 yards and 22 TD's. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2004 and was chosen 3rd overall. Larry Fitzgerald had his number retired after only 2 years of football with the Panthers. His jersey hangs among some of the greats, Tony Dorsett, Dan Marino and Mike Ditka to name a few. I've seen tons of wide receivers but i will stand my ground on this one and say he was the best and would have blown up any WR in the conversation had he made his stay at Pittsburgh for 4 years.
***These are the players i remember that caught my eye as some of the greatest. We can't forget the Elway's, Sanders, and Hershel Walkers..so who do you got as your CFB greats???
