Here's the rest of my thoughts this afternoon on most of the games, FWIW.
I can't get behind Liriano at -150 over the Rockies. I do know how poorly the Rockies were playing and what they're like on the road, but the capability that Liriano has at any given moment isn't worth -150 to me. The Pirates probably will win, but I'd play either RL first.
I had really thought I'd take the Brewers and/or over, and still lean over in spite of the move. However, with the side favoring the Nationals so heavily perhaps with the extra rest they are figuring Strasburg will pitch a gem. I tend to think not, and with the tough times the Nats can have against RHP, I do still lean Brewers.
I was hoping for a better RL number with the Phillies. There is no chance of laying -160 with Santana, and in fact I lean Phillies here. Santana has been hurt, and the Phillies always seem to play the Braves tough in Turner Field.
Far too much disrespect for the Dodgers here. Inasmuch as I've tried to be on the other side of Haren, I couldn't pass up the chance to take them at + money.
I really wanted to be on the Cubs, but when I saw how the one team Cahill HAD dominated, in limited at bats, I said I can't. However, I CANNOT take Arizona here. The cool side still IS the Cubs.
I have no real opinion on the Padres game. Looks like a cheap price for Kennedy, but Colon is certainly capable of shutting someone down, especially San Diego. The Padres and under just look too easy so I'd go the other way, perhaps.
I really wanted to take Toronto, but two players, Edwin and Lind, are the two Jays that have crushed Darvish. With that in mind, how many in a row has Texas lost and we do like RA with some breeze. Perhaps under here, although the line suggests otherwise. Still can't take Texas as a road favorite.
There's a little bit of love for Bauer and the Tribe, but certainly the Tigers stock could not be any higher. With the total coming down I could see taking the Tribe or Tribe RL. They've still probably got the better bullpen.
Boston probably are the winners. But, I can't base Buchholz on one good game against the Astros, so I'll probably pass. Not really enough value in the Royals, although if you made me that is all I could do, but I am just not a fan of marginal road teams in the 2H, either.
Twins or nothing, and yes I know the Rays were coming alive a bit. But the Twins are under valued almost always and at home against a RHP, given that all the Twins have been in Minnesota all week, is the play for me.
Looks like nobody likes our Astros, so give me the Houston RL. I know Quintana has been pretty sharp, but he's capable of a "Liriano", too.
No chance of laying -170 with Oakland, so it's the Orioles/Orioles RL, or nothing for me.
If we do add anything, it will probably be without reasoning, as is typical with later adds (I know some knew people are looking at this for the first time) but as you can see we have done the work. Thanks as always.
