Braves-Nats: Hale is a strikeout pitcher with excellent control. And of course the Nats haven't seen him. There is no chance of laying that # with the Nats, so it's Braves RL or ML or nothing there. Especially with the total going to 8 in most places.
Cubs-Phillies: Obvious starting pitching mismatch, but is that enough for the Cubs to be -160. I think so, and would take the Phillies or the Phillies RL at the right price.
Dodgers-Giants: Ryu was a beast last week, but the Dodgers don't have a bullpen. Vogelsong had his moment in the sun, so if there's a will there's a way to lean over here. Not laying that price on the Dodgers, who aren't really hitting right now. Giants RL, perhaps.
Arizona-Colorado: Rockies started hitting a little and tough to fade at home, especially in their opener. NEITHER team has a bullpen, and the D-Backs imploded yesterday. Ten is a lot of runs, and it's chilly in Colorado, but I can't take the under. Maybe Rockies -1.5.
Reds-Mets: I have a strong lean to the Mets, simply because it's too easy to take the Reds at that number. Very possible I add them and/or the over in that one. Leake a great hitting pitcher. Mets no bullpen.
Padres-Fish: Tough one and the money is on the Padres. Not sure I agree with that, although they do have the SP advantage. Lineups are a wash IMO, but the Fish are hitting and the Padres travelling. Not following the lemmings here. Fish or nothing.
Orioles-Tigers: Not laying -170 or whatever, as I've always felt Sanchez was a bit over rated, but the Orioles travelling and not hitting. Perhaps Detroit -1.5 here.
Minnesota-Cleveland: For a team that's not been hitting like they were expected to, -180 or whatever is not happening. With the total being lower than one might expect, Twins RL or under for me.
Yankees-Rays: Both teams travelling long distances and number inflated for Tanaka, but the Yankees aren't tearing the cover off the ball and haven't seen Jays starter, either. MAYBE Yankees first five and Jays for the game, or maybe both pens give it up late and it goes over.
Texas-Rays: I usually like to fade Saunders, and the Rays have always fared well against LHP's. Odorizzi has been quite solid in limited opportunities, so I can't take Texas here. Perhaps the obligatory under in the Trop.
Houston-LAA: Almost a no-brainer to take the Astros RL here, IMO.
Seattle-Oakland: Value leaving the A's ML already, and that may make the Seattle RL more playable.
Brewers-Boston: With Milwaukee getting to use a DH, I could only play the over here.
