Bullpens rocked me yesterday. My question is WHY did Robin V pull Quintana after 8 IP and only 77 pitches? He clearly wanted to go back out. Is it written somewhere now that these starters can't finish what they started? Good luck to the Pregame crew;
Cleveland Indians (+103) WIN
Houston Astros (-112) WIN - Houston's 36-16 home record against LHP is all I need to know. Combine that with KC's feeble hitting against LHP and we've got a side. Royals do not have a player with 10 RS against a lefty on the season. If Butler is held in check this should be a cakewalk
Toronto Blue Jays Over 4½ (-110) WIN - While I hate seeing all the love on the Jays as a road-dog, I have to agree. Alvarez's inability to keep the ball in the park is my concern. Jays with 25 homers against lefties
Chicago Cubs (+116) WIN - Garza has been hard luck, but that should end tonight. Stewart pitched 1 inning against these Cubs allowing 4 hits, 4 ERs and 2 HRs. Longest outings on the season are 3.1 IP and 45 pitches.
Seattle Mariners +1½ (-140)
Added Play;
Baltimore Orioles (+148) LOSS - Been on this play since yesterday. The main reason? Baltimore is 17-4 against starters with a WHIP under 1.15. That says to me that they hit pitchers that others don't. Dickey due for a letdown and Arrieta pitched well enough to win last out.
At a bit < 25/1;
Baltimore Orioles +1½ (-160)
Houston Astros -1½ (+180)
Toronto Blue Jays (-105)
Chicago Cubs +1½ (-180)
Seattle Mariners +1½ (-140)
