Personally, I think it should fall into the same 'judgement call' category as an 'uncatchable ball' -- should not be black and white. Bottom line is the DET player had ZERO chance of recovering the ball (this is what's important) - when you look at the replay, the SEA player could have easily grabbed it in the air off the bounce at chest level and drifted out of the back of the endzone, or simply 'chested' the ball out of the back of the endzone...he just kinda freaked out in the moment. Now, if the DET player DID have a chance of accessing the ball either directly, or via batting it loose from the SEA player before he could get a knee down, then THAT'S a different story. To overturn such a MASSIVE, GAME-ALTERING turnover all over a completely irrelevant technicality, whores the integrity of the sport IMO... -v
