The Concussion Movie - This can't be Real, right? And will ESPN acknowledge it?
My First thought as I saw the tweet from Peter King -- "...exclusive trailer for , starring Will Smith.) -- was "this can't be real" ... Obviously the NFL, with ALL of their power and cachet, could keep this from being Green lit, right?
But then again, I thought, This is the same NFL that could not, or choose not to, pay to get the Ray Rice tape--so IT IS possible that they failed here too...lol

Will ESPN dare talk about this movie?
The Mothership has been accused, and rightfully so, of being in bed w/ the league. Hell, If someone was making me the amount of money that NFL is making ESPN, I'd be carrying their water also!
Think the relationship is not that tight? Just look at the Mort report about the inflated footballs.
Now, with a movie this BIG featuring a Big Hollywood star looming, will ESPN talk about it on their BIG shows?
Not on the D block of SportsCenter but on First Take? Mike and Mike? NFL Live? Im guessing no.
There is but only one ESPN Show utterly UNAFRAID when it comes to these matters, The LeBatard Show. Currently rumored to be taking the Colin Spot, LeBatard takes on all topics--Race, Money, big business, Scandal.
Im not sure if he's back from vacation on Monday but undoubtedly this movie will be a topic will he returns--Likely the only time we'll hear it on ESPN air.
