fading the public is a stupid and outdated concept. who cares whether you are on the public or sharp side. the public loses because they're laying -110, not because they have a special ability to predict losers.
also, the media oversimplifies sharp vs. square stuff anyway. does anybody think that every sharp is on the same particular side? of course not. yet that's how it's presented.
several sharps might be betting miami -4, miami -5 and miami -5.5, while another sharp might be betting duke +6. what is the supposed sharp side? sharp vs. square is all about the numbers being bet, and yet the #s are never mentioned in the various sharp vs. square reports you read or hear on radio.
