Today's NFL SDQL Video Query of the Day is a character-revealing team trend that involves how the Cowboys perform vs the number when they are off a win and facing a team with fewer wins on the season.

Here is a link to view :

Then click on NFL in the menu bar.
While you're there, feel free to check out the other NFL QOD's as well as the five lessons on how to use the SDQL to investigate historical results in the NFL.

Without the SDQL, you're just guessing.

Just to understand you are up "40 dimes" in MLB; BUT WHAT IS THIS BASED ON? 100 UNIT OR 1000 UNIT. If read correctly you are up 40k in baseball...that's amazing if 100 unit and less than stellar using 10k a unit. Kinda gimmicky verbiage. Good luck

It is my understanding that the way pregame rates their plays is one-dime, two-dime, and three-dime.  I'm just following pregame's naming system.  This is not my choice or my interpretation.  Based on this, my net profit in baseball is well over 40 dimes this season.

Just to be clear...

If I release two plays:

A single-dime play on a dog that is +130
A double-dime play on a favorite that is -120

and they both win, I'm plus 3.3 dimes.

If they both lose, I'm -3.4 dimes.

Based on pregame's system, I'm up well over 40 dimes in baseball this season.

This is on ALL my MLB plays -- not some specially selected subset.

I just ran the numbers.

My MLB plays are +45.76 dimes this season.  This is based on pregame's rating system of one-dime, two-dime and three-dime plays.
