In Betting Buzz, Andy & Scott take a look at some ways to handicap NFL Win Totals.
Andy has two things that he looks at. When looking at Unders one thing has been consistent over the years and that is that when you look at teams that will win 5 games or fewer over the course of the season there are about 6 or 7 teams per year that will do that. This year just 2 teams (Jacksonville and Oakland) have their win totals set at 5.
Andy likes the Under on the Cleveland Browns. Andy states that the Browns are a mess and haven't won more that 5 games since 2007.
Overs. When looking at teams that will make the Playoffs, over 80% of the teams since 1990 have had over 10 wins, while over 95% of those teams have had at least 9 wins.
Scott feels that Jim Caldwell will help the Lions and he likes their backfield as well. Scott doesn't agree with the money coming in on Atlanta, while Andy feels that they could bounce back.
Houston has an advantage of playing a last place schedule and the talent level on this team is not a last place team.
