There is a reason that every sports book in the known universe prints stats on the back of the weekly NFL spread sheet, a great tool that promotes self-reinforcing delusion.
At the end of the day the NFL is Plinko, but still fun and entertaining link craps.
ehh I've had 3 consecutive extremely profitable NFL seasons using stats. If you choose to not use them that's just wrong to me.

Congratulations on your recent success these last three yrs. I also would like to be the 1st to wish you many more years of continued winning.
My point is, the illusion that you are winning by looking at tiny stat samples in a sport with so few games is the definition of the self-reinforcing delusion.
Get back to me in 40 years and let’s compare notes. Long term it's a losing proposition. You could just blindly bet every dog off the board for 40 years and make more money if you measured success over a large sample.
[/quote] thanks and considering i've made over 1500 wagers each year, im not sure what the right sample is to you but 4500 is about right to be somewhat statistically significant.
good luck in whatever sports you think are profitable
