Neither team looked all that good last night.
The really seem un-prepared for the game and NY Radio is now asking for the benching of Geno Smith in favor of Michael Vick.
The Jet play calling was not all that good in the game, especially late in the game when they decided to use an empty backfield, which allowed the Bears to bring pressure vs an untested QB. Andy has more concerns about the Jets coming out of this game than he does with the Bears.
The Bears came into this game in a potential flat spot, but they came out and were aggressive from the start.
Scott really thinks it's time for Michael Vick. Geno Smith is having many problems and just will not take this team to the next level. He is one of those guys that will be a very good back up, but not as a starter.
The Jets did out-gain Chicago 414-257 in the game, but their red zone offense was horrible, scoring just 1 TD in 6 trips. Scott feels that Chris Ivory needs to be the feature back and use Chris Johnson as the Backup.
The Jets were having great success running the ball in the first half and into the 3rd quarter, but then they went to more passing and that puts pressure on Smith, which is not needed. Andy feels that NY York had a poor game plan for this game.
The Bears are host to Green Bay this coming this week. It is an odd scheduling spot for Chicago as they come off 2 road games and have two more on deck. Andy may be looking at the Over in that game.
The Jets play host to the Lions next week and Andy will probably be looking at the Jets in this game, who are a better team than they have shown this year.
