AFC East Pats: Back on track w/3 straight wins including back to back division victories. Can make it 5 straight, before bye, with home wins over Bears (3-1 SU on road) and rested Denver off Thursday game vs. San Diego
AFC South Colts After 0-2 start, won 5 straight, including 3-0 vs. division. Colts have next 2 on the road before bye: @ Pitt (off MNF) and @ Giants (2-1 SU @ home). Indy’s 5-1 Conference mark best in AFC and could be a factor in getting a postseason bye this year.
AFC North Ravens Back on top of division with 2 straight wins after week 5 loss at Indy. Ravens can take control of the division over next 3 weeks, before week 11 bye: @ Cincy, @ Pitt & @ Tenn.
AFC West Broncos Denver has won 3 straight, off early bye, and is 4-0 SU @ home heading into Thursday’s big game vs Chargers. Broncos’ next 3 are on the road, @ Pats, @ Oakland & @ St Louis. Wins over SD & NE would keep Denver on pace for 3rd straight #1 AFC Seed.
Wild Cards
Chargers: Home loss to KC could hurt in division race, but a win Thursday @ Denver, 4-0 SU @ home, would give them the division lead. After Denver, San Diego travels to Miami before bye.
Bengals: Once 3-0, have gone 0-2-1 SU since week 4 bye; losing, badly, to Pats & Colts. Cincy’s postseason hopes have dimmed during winless streak, but tie may help w/ postseason tiebreakers. After week 7, both the Bills & Steelers are 4-3 and a quartet of teams, Cleve, Miami, Houston & KC also have 3 wins.
Bengals are still 11-0-1 SU L12 regular season home games and with 3 straight home games versus Balt, Jax & Cleve could get back on track, if they can get out of post bye funk.
