After the barrage of under's in week one, the pendulum has swung... yes I know that crazy stuff happens in the regular season as well (regarding totals). Seriously though, wagering on preseason games is the equivalent of playing Russian roulette. I understand that we are all chomping on the bit for some football action but IMO the fact remains that it is the PRESEASON! Sure teams 3 games in to PS want to build momentum going into their opener. But some (like the 49er's) are playing understudy's. I play only small pars to increase my interest in the games.
It's information gathering time for me. Tonight's game was a good example. I'm not sure what's going on in Pittsburgh but something is amiss. There will be a time for the line makers to adjust to the traditionally successful Steelers. This can create opportunity in the first few regular season games involving them. I will be keeping a close eye on their first few games.
How about you? Have you noticed teams that seem to be playing out of character? Share your insight so we all can profit...
